JANUARY 26, 2008, 12 NOON:
have you ever wished you could dress up like a classy-trashy bawlmer hon and jump in the chesapeake bay to raise money for the special olympics?
if you have… you’re awesome, and we need you on our team for the 2008 polar bear plunge.
if you don’t want to jump in the water you can still dress like a hon and hang out at the beach party (yes…in january).
if you don’t even want to show up, at least donate to our cause.
THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO:
our goal is to have as many hons on the beach as possible to support us, whether they are jumping in the bay or not. think 100′s of hons in the sand. (weird – but so awesome).
our favorite photographer – the blonde photographer - will be shooting that day, and the pictures of our crazy, freezing hon-bums will be available to us shortly after the event. there’s nothing better than a professional photograph of you in a leopard-print speedo thrashing in the bay in january.
there will be a fundraising happy hour before the event, we’re thinking the 24th, though the date has to be finalized.

sadly, i just tried on a flamingo costume that is sized for a large child. it fit, a little, but the hood wasn’t big enough for my head. so i am back to square one with no plunging costume.
maybe a leopard bikini with pink fringe will work?
